Historic Board of Review
The Historic Board of Review is concerned with elements of development, redevelopment, and preservation that affect visual quality in an historic district, and with controlling signage. The Historic Board conducts surveys to identify historic buildings, structures and places within the city and submits to City Council a map describing the boundaries of historic districts. The Historic Board classifies and designates all buildings and structures within each historic district.
The Historic Board consists of five voting members, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.
